And here is another:
Here is another video demonstrating part of the Moo Lim Do warmup
NOTE: We have modified the above warmup. The neck exercises and grip exercises are now done in a horse stance. Also, instead of "circles" (neck exercise), it is a tilt.
Meditation (at the beginning of the warmup) has been a part of our own internal culture for decades. Unlike in Buddhism or Zen, for us meditation does not mean a total divorce from the world, like a dead body, but rather an active moment to reflect on our past mistakes in silence, and in the privacy of our thoughts, and through penitence, to continue our self-improvement toward becoming better men or women.
Most successful people meditate, from all walks of life, all over the world. In Timothy Ferris' 673 page seminal book "Tools of Titans", Timothy interviewed 112 billionaires, icons, and world-class performers in an attempt to tickle out their tactics, routines, and habits that brought them to success. More than 80% of the interviewees have some form of daily meditation practice. They consider it to be a principle of success.
Here is the warm up that John does for his BJJ/Self Defense class. It is very similar to ours.
The warmup in the video is done at full speed so you can follow along at home. Additional details contained in the text overlay.
